Our story

Founded in 2021 by Jessica Meyer, Bourbon and Fire began with a spark of creativity in her basement. While running her wedding business, BlueGirlDesigns, Jessica discovered a passion for transforming bourbon barrel lids into custom creations. Her first horse racing game took plenty of trial and error but became a hit at a house party. Soon, friends were requesting games and personalized barrel lids, inspiring Jessica to pursue Bourbon and Fire full time. The business grew from the basement to the garage, expanding into bourbon-inspired gifts, décor, and everyday essentials. Etsy orders, craft shows, and special projects—including a barrel for Zac Taylor—helped fuel its growth. Our journey led to a storefront on Main Street in Hamilton, close to Jessica’s hometown of Ross. You can also shop our space inside The Collective Boutique in Montgomery!
