Custom Stuffies & Closed Ecosystem Terrariums My love for terrariums and crochet began with my Grandma Nellie, my favorite person in the world. She passed away nearly 17 years ago, but the things she taught me live on in my hands and heart. Over the years, I’ve nurtured these skills into something I can share with others. In my closed terrariums, I find wonder in watching life flourish on its own, creating a tiny world that feels like a forest floor after rain. Every time I open one to check on it before it finds its new home, that earthy, rain-soaked scent reminds me why I love what I do. My crochet has a different kind of magic. Creating memorial pieces of beloved pets is a privilege I never take lightly. Every request carries a story: a friend sending a little piece of home to a loved one serving in a war zone, a family remembering a pet they’ve lost, or someone leaving their childhood home. These crafts may be worlds apart, but both are ways of honoring life, love, and connection.
