Our story
Born and raised in Ibaraki, Japan, I began studying Japanese calligraphy at age nine. The quiet moments of writing with my brush and the scent of sumi ink have always been a way for me to connect with myself. After moving to Colorado in 2013, the beauty of Mother Nature rekindled my passion for calligraphy. Since 2021, I’ve been sharing my art at local art fairs. I love creating meaningful pieces by writing your favorite word, your name, or the name of someone you love in Japanese :)
