Our story

In 2010, we moved from California to Arizona, where I quickly fell in love with rustic Western décor. I searched everywhere for a tastefully decorated steer skull for our home, but couldn’t find one I liked—so I decided to create my own. After four weeks of work, I finished my first piece. My mother-in-law saw it, loved it, and took it home! I made another, only to have a friend fall in love with that one too. Then a friend who owned a tack shop asked if I could create six skulls to sell from her trailer at a barrel race. I spent nearly every waking moment getting them ready. The event lasted three days, but all six sold before the end of day two. I went home and immediately started creating more—and Skull Krazy was born. Since then, I’ve created and sold more than 2,500 unique pieces online and at events including the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, the Prescott Rodeo, The Collective Boutiques and other Western events.
