Our story
I create functional pottery that, in the right hands, takes on more of a sculptural feel. My latest exploration has been joining multiple wheel thrown pieces to create something that looks as if it shouldn't be standing at all. The glazes I make mirror my Norfolk home, peaceful and calm, a reflection of the Lafayette River or the pesky Green Heron. The precariousness of form (or sometimes just texture) mixed with muted, soft color is something that I hope invites people to approach and engage.
